Professional Heads

This series is equipped with a specially designed fluid head to support the best in camera equipment. Cast and achined from robust aluminum alloy, and coated in hammer-finish epoxy, the head of the MH5000 is stove enamelled at 320 degrees centigrade and protected with lacquer. Its robust handles have integral rubber control surfaces. Hydraulic pressure allows the photographer precise control over the image, allowing time to enjoy the scene being captured.

The quick pan head incorporates a special patented double safety lock and a sprung location pin, which allows the equipment to be simply and quickly loaded and unloaded.

Multi-angle Design

The head has an unlimited 3-way design,
with each movement having independent
action. Its robust handles provide easy
locking, and its special fluid pan movement
allows full 360 degree rotation for the
ultimate in flexibility.

A. Double Safety Catch

The quick release on the MH 5000 has a professional double safety catch patented by Giotto's. To operate the release lever, the safety button must be pressed, preventing accidental release of the camera.

B. Quick Release

Pressing the safety button whileoperating the release lever automatically releases the camera plate. The mechanism remains ready to accept the plate. Setting the plate back in place causes the release lever to spring back and lock the plate securely. Attaching and removing the camera is quick and precise.

C. Camera Attachment And Release

Beneath the camera platform of the MH 5001, two patented controls allow the rapid mounting and removing of the camera.

D. Anti-twist Pan Lock

The series incorporates an anti-twist pan lock beneath the pan head. Once the pan head is attached to the tripod the three set - screws secure the pan head securely to protect your valuable equipment.

When using the MH 5000 series heads and a telescope, the two handles can be joined together to operate with one hand and for space-saving storage.(Optional screw knob was needed.)

MH 6010 Window Mount

For use with all spotting scopes, cameras, videos and other tripod adaptable accessories. Pivoting head allows full range of motion. Padded clamp firmly attaches to any car or truck window for a steady viewing platform.
